Ultrabroadband Rectangular Double Split Ring Based Perfect Solar Absorber

Metasurfaces could be very beneficial when elaborating solar cells to succeed in balancing between cost and efficiency. Thus, thin absorbers achieving high performance are attainable with the possibility use any material. In this work, a perfect absorber based on tungsten (W) metal-insulator-metal (MIM) metasurface is proposed. The MIM array consists of rectangular double split ring resonator (RD-SRR) pattern specific set parametric values that maximize structure’s absorption. study results an ultrabroadband absorption over minimum value 97.02% reaching peak 99.9%. Its integrated entire spectral at AM1.5 99.6%. This fulfills efficiently devices’ requirements including ability work under temperature conditions afforded by tungsten.
